Crystallised Lip Balms - What do I do?

Sometimes handmade lip balms can reacts to weather conditions and crystallises but they are still safe to use, just like when Honey or Olive Oil crystallises, it's just not appealing to the eye. They still give the same beautiful feel on your lips and skin and help protect them against all the elements, they are still the same great quality that you would expect. The reason they crystallise is because the butters that are used. Butters need to be cooled down quickly and some needs to be heated longer to breakdown the oil to stop the crystals forming, but sometimes nature will still do it's thing and cause crystallisation. If you find your lip balm has crystallised, just place them under a grill until they have completely melted, then carefully put them in the fridge to cool down and solidify. Alternatively you can put them in a tray of hot water until they have melted then place them in the fridge until they have cooled down and solidified. If you use the hot water method, please be careful not to mix the water in with the lip balm as they are made with pure natural oils. Warning: Please do not use your fingers to pick up the hot tin when the lip balm has melted as this will burn your fingers
